Manitoba SwimAbility is getting a new name. We are excited to introduce you to Swimmingly: One-on-One for Exceptional Needs!
Our name and logo are changing, but our mission remains the same: to offer one-on-one swimming to children with exceptional needs in pools throughout Manitoba.
We started 9 years ago as Making Waves, a local chapter of a national organization. We continued to grow and expand to new communities, as across Canada Making Waves chapters became SwimAbility. Through your support, as Manitoba SwimAbility our program has now grown to 400 swimmers and 200 volunteers at 11 pools throughout the province.
Now we are Swimmingly: an independent and Manitoba focused program operating at 11 pools throughout the province. We look forward to continuing to grow and expand to more Manitoba communities, while still offering the same fun, active, and accessible swimming and water safety instruction.
